Visa arrangements

The visa policy of Georgia became comparatively liberal, allowing citizens of 98 countries to enter, reside, work and study in Georgia without the necessity to obtain either a visa or residence permit. According to the visa liberalization agreement between Georgia and the EU, every citizen of the European Union and other countries (Visa arrangements. List of Countries without the necessity to obtain either visa or residence permit) is eligible to travel to Georgia without issuing visas. If your country of citizenship is not on the list, we will be pleased to provide you with an Invitation Letter to apply for your visa to the Consular department of the Georgian Embassy.
